I am a seasoned graphic designer/art director and a native to the ATL, who aspires to be an open-minded, stellar team member without the rock star attitude. My design aesthetic is clean and modern, but I can easily adapt to other areas of the spectrum in visual expression. I’m a type enthusiast, some might call me a type missionary, as I know the power of refined typography will elevate design to the next level. I’m also fashion and music inspired, although not every project calls for this. When I’m not knocking out smart design solutions, you’ll probably find me reading or on a yoga mat. I have a deep love for yoga and meditation, and have been teaching workshops, private sessions and a couple weekly group classes since 2004. I love to illustrate, design patterns, practice hand-lettering and am always up for discovering new recipes to cook and restaurants to try.
As a designer, I am interested in creating smart, elegant solutions that balance form and function. I enjoy working in team-oriented environments of copywriters, developers, creative directors, strategists, other designers (and of course, four–legged companions.) I believe in keeping the creative process strong with constant learning experiences and exposure to other great sources and minds.
I have been honored to receive several awards and media attention for my work during my career. Additionally, I have taught Introduction to Graphic Design and Typography, as well as Branding and Advertising as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University.
